Curriculum Vitae

Manuscripts Under Development

  • Spaceflight Before NASA. NASA’s prehistory is a rarely told story, largely absent from popular histories of the space age. But it’s an important story that helps contextualize NASA’s incredible lunar program.
  • Behind Apollo. The Space Race as it was behind the mission we typically see: the decisions that shaped the lunar Apollo program and forced creation of the interim Gemini program; the close competition with the Soviet Union early in the decade; and the political pressures that pushed the whole endeavour inexorably forward.
